To create a discount campaign, navigate to "Action" for your desired collection in Rusty Collections. Then select discount at the top of the table. This will open up a form to create a new discount campaign. Name your discount campaign. Then you are required to select a date range. You can have the campaign start immediately or schedule the start time. Also, you have the choice to end your campaign at a desired time or have the discount run permanently. 

Also please make sure to add the discount percentage (the amount taken off the usual price) 

The campaign info will pop up in the Campaigns page and can be turned off manually from this page.

Making a Discount Campaign

To make a rusty collection, navigate to the "Create" button, outlined in the "Getting Started" section. A form will open up. You are required to enter collections in which the products you want from. Then pick desired tags these products have. After that we need a date range to specify the age (or how long they have been on the Shopify store) of the products. Then we can pick our desired product statuses out of Active, Draft and Archive. Upon submitting, a new Rusty Collection is then created.


Making a Rusty Collection

These are the features to Rusty Bucket: 
Firstly the Rusty Collections page has all the info about the collections you have made using Rusty Bucket. At the top of this page, you can select Create which will take you to a form where you can specify criteria to make a new Rusty Collection. Also on the Rusty Collections page, you can view info and stats about your collection (under the view button) and also perform actions such as campaigns, activations and deactivations of products (under action). 

Activating makes all products in the Rusty Collection active. Deactivate archives all products in that rusty collection. 

If we want to create a campaign, we select action on the Rusty Collections page and select the Discount button that appears. This will take you to a new page where you can enter info about your desired discount. 

As for the view button - various stats about the collection can be viewed. Including price, inventory and also quantity stats.

Rusty Bucket Features

Rusty Bucket allows shop owners to create custom collections with the focus on offloading more stock. The idea is that these services are offered in a more streamlined way compared to other existing apps which are quite narrow in their focus. Clearance and sales of old, dead items in handled one place. 
The idea is that with Rusty Bucket, you can create a collection with set criteria for products. Criteria includes date of upload of products, desired tags, and desired collections. It ill then create a "Rusty Collection" for this where you can apply bulk campaigns to this product group. Currently, you can bulk activate, deactivate and also set temporary or permanent discount campaigns. Future additions will be several types of auction, variable discount pricing, automated price changes over a products lifetime and a connection to an external index website where your clearance campaigns will be listed.
